There is a pillar at Somnath that marks an unbroken line of sea to Antarctica — nothing between this shore and the pole. Standing there at the evening aarti, with the waves under the sound of the bells, is the closest thing to an argument that faith has ever made to me. We offer your chadhava at the sandhya aarti and collect the mohanthal warm.
